George R.R. Martin on writing women
- George Stroumboulopoulos: There's one thing that's interesting about your books. I noticed that you write women really well and really different. Where does that come from?
- George R.R. Martin: You know, I've always considered women to be people.
I don’t care if I have loans. I’m going into a high-paying field and don’t want to live like it so I don’t understand this.
I worked so hard and now I may not be able to go to Boston University. But my mom’s boyfriend is determined to help me figure out how to get there.
So Boston University has given me in loans about 2/5 of their overall tuition.
Their tuition is high just like everywhere else.
Is it worth it to even try to go there? My dad said I had a college fund, but I have no idea how much is in it…
particularly good things that happened today:
in English, I received my first choice on my novel for our projects
I talked to two people I really enjoy talking to that I haven’t talked to since spring break ended
I bought new running shoes
and because our local movie store is going out of business, my dad went and bought a bunch of movies one of them being Into The Wild!
