This next school year I’ll be living in my own apartment! Which is great, and my favorite part is that I get my own kitchen.
Any tips on having my own kitchen for the first time and unconventional things I should keep in it or bring?
made fully rebloggable for anon. Seriously, I think a lot of people need to realise that gender equality means Men and Women are treat exactly the same and you can’t solve discrimination against women by introducing discrimination against men
A M E N
Except it isn’t discrimination against men, it’s a limited arena where women are actually allowed to let off some steam for once. Literally any post you see from a woman claiming to “discriminate” against a man is just a woman responding to the amount of utter bullshit men put us through.
Do you like the way you’re treated on Tumblr? No? Think about what we have to deal with *every day* in the real world.
This is by far the most stupid ass comment on my post to date.
- You completely missed the point about “You don’t solve discrimination by causing more discrimination” well done, u cant read
- I have never ever sexually harassed or in any way discriminated against a woman so why should I be held responsible and suffer for something I didn’t do?
- Are you actually serious?? You’re telling me that if I get sexually harassed on here is totally fine because “women need to let off steam” you are so ignorant it hurts. Sometimes men get a bit frustrated by women, sometimes men need to let off steam, that doesn’t make it ok to go up to a woman and describe in detail how I’d like to have sex with her, which is something I’ve had on here. Just because its women doing the harassing doesn’t make it anymore serious or make me feel any less degraded by it. I am so tired of this shit.
8-years ago, CHP Officer Kevin Briggs talked this young man out of jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.
That young man’s name is Kevin Berthia.
Today he is 30 years old and married with 2 children.
This week he presented Officer Briggs with an award on behalf of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
The story of how Officer Briggs talked Kevin down is remarkable.
As you can see in the picture, Kevin is literally one step away from jumping to his death. But for more than hour, the officer listened to Kevin pour his heart out about his troubles and told him, “I know you think things are bad, but they can get better.”
Kevin says, “Officer Briggs never made me feel guilty for the situation I was in. He made feel like, I understand why you are here, but there are alternatives”
Kevin is just one of countless lives Briggs has saved over his 23 year career.
Briggs, who was promoted to Sergeant five years ago, is humble about what he does. He says, ”they make the decision, when they step back over that rail it takes a tremendous amount of courage”
I salute Sergeant Briggs!

there’s always a reason to keep living.
wanna make a secret handshake it involves us touching our mouths together for three hours
Don’t tell Dave he’s losing his hair.
“We did a screen test and so, they brought in cameras, and then there were four Jims and four Pams, and we got mix-and-matched. Every time I was matched with John, it was so easy and it just was so natural. On the second day, of auditions he leaned over to me and he said, ‘You’re my favorite Pam.’ And I said, ‘You’re my favorite Jim! Oh my gosh! I hope we both get it!’ So, when they called me and said that I got the role, I said, ‘Who’s Jim? Please say John Krasinski.’ They said, ‘Yes, it’s John Krasinski.’ And I knew. I started to cry and I knew that the two of us together… I couldn’t be Pam without him. He’s my Jim. He just is.”
I really want a Wii game where you’re fighting Cybermen or Daleks from the Doctor’s point of view so the Sonic is your wiimote and you have to pilot the TARDIS with the nunchuck and yeah, I’d buy that.

Some asshole would make the last level a fight against the Weeping Angles.
I’ll admit it. I cried.
